It is home to three towering Virunga Mountains, which provide stunning views and exciting hikes to the summits. The lush vegetation and forests of these mountains are the habitat of a family of gorillas, and trekking through them to catch a glimpse of the gorillas in their natural setting is an unforgettable experience. Furthermore, the Batwa community also call these forests their home, and it is possible to learn about their culture and history by visiting the area.
